Established in November 2004, Braverman Gallery is located in Tel Aviv. The gallery provides a platform for contemporary art media, with an emphasis on video and installation art. We are focused on developing and promoting emerging artists, both local and international.
The gallery actively produces artists' projects, such as Ofri Cnaani's video installation Oasis, which premiered at LOOP 6, Barcelona, and Romy Achituv's new media installation Sediments, which premiered at the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale. Activities include Jacob Mishori's participation at the 5th Berlin Biennale, curated by Adam Szymczyk and Elena Filipovic and Open Plan Living, Tel Aviv, curated by Andrew Renton.
Additional past exhibitions include Nira Pereg's video work (Recollets Resident 2009) in Medium Religion, ZKM, Karlsruhe, curated by Boris Groys, and in ArtFocus5, Jerusalem, curated by Ami Barak and Bernard Blistène. Exhibitions also include David Adika (Cite Resident 2008) in Territoires, the 6th International Photography Biennale, Liege, curated by Dorothee Luczak, and his solo show After Winter Must Come Spring at Q! Gallery, curated by Francis McKee.
